EcoGlove International is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Swiger as its Executive Vice President of operations for the Americas.
Dan, based in San Diego, has extensive experience in a variety of businesses in the U.S., Canada and Mexico and was a founder, among other companies, of Yulex Corporation of Maricopa, AZ, a renewable and sustainable enterprise that applies intelligent crop science and proprietary clean technology to create medical and biobased industrial products from guayule, a plant native to the southwestern U.S. and a source for a wide variety of products including natural rubber and energy.
Through his association with Yulex Corporation and other previous companies Dan has extensive experience in healthcare and medical devices and particularly with gloves, condoms and catheters.
EcoGlove is bringing to market a revolution in the quality, supply, use and disposal of medical examination gloves, with emphasis, apart from cost and other savings, on environmental sustainability, fair trade and respect for the human factor in delivering health care services.
EcoGlove recently received the Frost & Sullivan “2008 European Medical Devices Green Excellence in Product Innovation Award”, the first of its kind in the medical sector.
