September 4, 2008 - EcoGlove participates in MARGMA's 4th International Rubber Glove Conference & Exhibition

The Malaysian Rubber Glove Manufacturers' Association (MARGMA) is a trade association that focuses on the rubber latex glove manufacturing industry in Malaysia. It promotes the interests of all stakeholders in the industry and co-operates with regulatory and technical bodies to develop and maintain responsible sustainable standards, including available Governmental and Institutional support. MARGMA's members together supply more than 60% of the global demand for rubber latex gloves and are the most innovative in meeting customer demands.

The 4th conference follows the success of the past three International Rubber Glove Conferences and Exhibitions held in 2002, 2004 and 2006 which attracted participants and exhibitors both locally and from overseas.

Apart from a variety of papers presented covering various aspects of the industry from regulatory to technical and commercial issues the conference was accompanied by an exhibition where EcoGlove could explain and promote the major advantages for manufacturers, suppliers and users that its reusable glove process provides.

Attracting wide interest, particularly from glove distributors, attendance at the exhibition was complemented by the presence of an EcoGlove Glove Reprocessing Unit, GRU, in operation at the Rubber Research Institute where it is used for glove development and for servicing two hospitals in the Kuala Lumpur area.
