Why can’t I just wash my current examination gloves in a conventional washing machine?

There are several reasons why this cannot work:

  1. The current gloves are made for single use (Tr@ce was developped to be re-usable - multiple single use) and not designed to withstand washing
  2. Reprocessing in washing machines is ineffective and disinfection is unsure, unsafe and neither repeatable nor reproducible. Indeed there is no certainty of decontamination of BOTH surfaces of the gloves, inside and out, except to return every glove inside out and start a new cycle!
  3. There is no way to check all gloves for small and potentially dangerous physical defects and defects,
  4. Effective drying, packaging, size sorting would be prohibitively labour intensive and expensive.
  5. Furthermore, it would be impossible to control the number of reuses and introduce any practical form of traceability.
  6. All this would also need to be done under GMP and FDA approval and without traceability it would be impossible to achieve.
Only Tr@ce gloves can be reprocessed and only GURU is validated to reprocess the Tr@ce gloves.
